We sweat and dehydrate

As we hear the marching armies
We run behind our walls
The stones will rain tonight
If we are lucky we might see another dawn

The days passes by
The siege never ends
Food supplies are running short
And the kids are starving

Wars like this started it all
The mind of man wanted to go to war
They made machines to kill and murder
I hoped that they wouldn't go much further

The plains they fly in the sky
Dropping death and terror at the ground
If we humans really seek peace
Then how come we have fucked up so bad?

When I wrote before I started to post, I wrote on a piece of paper. I looked at it to see if it could inspire me or if I wanted to use one of them, then I noticed on one there was a dried tear drop and the ink was very... how do you put it.... very unclear I guess and it was hard to read o.o Then I remember when I wrote it and yeah XD

I love this poem.

This is very powerful. But I will say one mistake you did.
Uh, you used the wrong 'your' on the third line. It's 'you're.' Just thought I should help just incase for the future. ^^
