Jon stood at the edge of a small harbor in St Olafsburg. He looked down into the lake, it had to be far enough for his plan, it had to be. It was in the middle of March and there wasn't a single boat there, and no one ever came at this time of the year. They wouldn't notice, they never notice.

Neat and true

But I do think the first line is slightly confusing, or perhaps it is just the way it is formulated. Like, ofc it is hard to "face" peoples lies when obviously you don't know about them. I don't know if you mean "lies" as in some of your dark sides, in that case you should go for something more like that instead of the word lies.

At times you lie to people so they wont have to face the truth, you make a small lie to make them feel better
