The Water Is Deep

Jon stood at the edge of a small harbor in St Olafsburg. He looked down into the lake, it had to be far enough for his plan, it had to be. It was in the middle of March and there wasn't a single boat there, and no one ever came at this time of the year. They wouldn't notice, they never notice.

He pulled up his dark jeans from his butt and grabbed the garbage on his right. He walked away from the harbor and to the rocky beach right next to it.
