Deviousness |
Peter Pan had the right idea after all...he never wanted to grow up, because the world of the grown ups was nothing but cruelty, treachery and sadness.
However, if you ask me...it's easier to accept the end of things, once you have suffered by the hands of the world.
For then the end won't mean the end of play, games and fun...but the end of suffering and pain.
So you see, even in sadness, hurt and agony, something good rests.
For children, every end is a new beginning.
The people in the past centuries knew what they were doing by accepting death as it is...inevitable. But not evil or gruesome...but as the stepping stone to a new and maybe better world.
I wonder what happened to that mindset...?
Bunch of selfish bastards, huh?
